As we approach the exciting Practical Completion of Batard by @lucasrestaurants Restaurants, the AJ team recently visited the site for a ‘lessons learned’ walk-through.

We are currently managing five hospitality projects at various stages of design and delivery. The site walk provided valuable insights into the technical and authority challenges that our team have navigated over the past 18 months. Allowing our team to reflect on the journey is invaluable – particularly the Batard project that blends heritage and hospitality to create this much-anticipated venue within the iconic Bourke Hill Precinct.

It won’t be long before Batard infuses the ‘Paris end’ of Bourke Street with French flair, and we’re excited for Melburnians to experience its unique charm. Stay tuned!

As long-term development advisor to Lucas Restaurants, this is the ninth venue we’ve delivered, from site identification through to design and construction. With four more projects in the pipeline, our collaboration keeps growing.

Today we celebrated the lead-up to the AFL Grand Final by getting decked out in our team colours, tackling some fierce footy trivia and revealing the winners for the AJ Footy Tipping Competition.
The perfect way to wrap up another epic footy season and kick off the long weekend!

We’re proud to share the impressive end result of the Level 19 refurbishment and fit-out at 114 Williams Street for our client AFIAA.

This project involved the creation of three dynamic Speculative Suites to cater to evolving workplace needs, featuring a range of boardrooms, offices, workstations, hot desks, collaborative zones, booths, a printing station and kitchen.

Fantastic job to the AJ team Han Zou, David Sivevski and Lilian Miller who skillfully and expertly drove the project and ensured such an outstanding result.

We’re incredibly excited to announce the promotion of Bronte Evans and Nick White to Project Manager roles at Armitage Jones.

Bronte has been an integral part of the AJ team since 2022. She is a key member of our Social Committee, ESG Working Group, and was recently accepted into the 500 Women in Property program. From her work co-ordinating the Business Hub, Wellness Centre and speculative suites at 555 Collins Street project to her management of the First People’s Health and Wellbeing clinic in Frankston and Carlotta restaurant in Canberra to expertly managing the planning process for Levande’s Retirement Village at East Bentleigh, Bronte continues to impress.

Nick has also been with AJ since 2022 and has made a significant contribution through his work on 435 Bourke Street, Queen and Collins fitout projects, and his management of rooftop bar redevelopment at Johnny’s Green Room. He has also made an impact by championing our Grad program and is the one to beat in our Corporate Triathlon team setting an incredible pace. He’s also our Keep Cup ambassador! Nick’s dedication shines.

When First Peoples Health and Wellbeing (FPHW) engaged the AJ team late last year, they were dealing with a partially demolished site, a builder in receivership and a looming deadline at their existing premises which they had to vacate.
We knew we had to work fast, so we assembled a trusted group of consultants and contractors to help navigate the tight timeframes.

We’re proud to announce that through dynamic collaborative work, our client’s Treatment Centre in Frankston reached Practical Completion last week, enabling FPHW to start welcoming patients next week.
A massive shout out to the AJ team @bronteevans, Lilian and former AJ team member @davebellio who skillfully guided our client through the development process and ensured the achievement of this incredible end result.
